Vishesh - vigorous warm oil treatment
A rhythmic full body application of warm oil, similar to a full body massage, this treatment is revitalizing and stimulating to the immune system, and deeply relaxing. The vigorous application of warm oil initiates the flow of fresh blood and nutrients to the deep layers of your skin. Muscle tensions in the neck, shoulders, legs, arms and face are released and prana (vital energy) is rebalanced throughout the body. The result is a complete state of relaxation, a heightened state of awareness and invigorated body. Shirodhara - slow, rhythmic flow of warm medicated oil on the forehead
A classic Ayurvedic treatment, this is one of the most divine and relaxing therapies of Ayurveda. A continuous stream of warm, herbalized oil is slowly poured over your forehead, mainly over the third eye point in between the eyebrows. Shirodhara is helpful in improving fatigue, mental exhaustion, anxiety, insomnia, some mental disorders, headache, excessive thinking, nervousness, and other conditions related to stress. This treatment includes a Tibetan marma relaxation sequence and warm lavender butter massaged to the feet.
