Recent studies have shown that we may actually acquire more toxins through skin absorption and inhalation than through the food that we eat. Our skin is the largest organ of our bodies and it's quick to absorb anything that touches it. When you rub chemicals on your skin, they can pass straight through and enter your bloodstream within minutes. If you are the type of person who consumes natural foods and avoids foods with preservatives, then you should also apply this practice to your body care routine. Our products are people, earth, animal and environment safe. We use organic ingredients whenever possible, our shea butter is purchased through "Women's Gold" the Dagara shea butter project in Africa. We make all of our products in small batches to ensure quality and freshness. We use grapefruit seed extract and rosemary oil extract as natural preservatives and our products do not have mineral oil or petroleum, no harsh detergents, no drying alcohol, no formaldehydes or lanolin (highly allergenic) and are sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) & sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) free. Most of our formulas are unique and come from old French and French Canadian recipes.

Animal rights are extremely important to us, so all of the ingredients, including the raw supplies that come from other sources, are all cruelty free.

We are constantly researching ingredients, processes and containers to deliver the greenest of products. As a result of using only natural preservatives, our products need to be handle a little differently in order to optimize their shelf life. We recommend storing our products in a cool dark place with stable temperature. Avoid keeping Le FP green body care products in extreme temperature as it will shorten their shelf life. When natural products are stored in a warm environment at higher temperatures the efficacy of the preservatives is greatly reduced. We strongly recomment storing Le FP green body care *creams* in the fridge during the hot humid months.

We have to use the chemical names for ingredients, because of the FDA requirements, even for common natural ingredients like shea butter.
