Founded in 2003 in New York State by Josée Dupont and now based out of Peterborough, NH since Fall 2005, Le FP Green Body Care continually strives to offer the best in green body care by using the most natural ingredients available. Several of our products are Vegan (completely free of animal-derived ingredients) and others have beeswax. Our extensive selections include products for men women and children. All incorporate the use of essential oils carefully selected and combined for the best scent and therapeutic properties available. Honoring Josée's green philosophy, Le FP avoids harmful chemicals ingredients, synthetic preservatives, fragrances and colors. Including these ingredients would make production easier, but we feel it's worth the added effort to avoid them.
As lovers of all things natural, the animal world is highly regared at Le FP. All of the ingredients, including the raw supplies that come from other sources, are all cruelty free.
Additionally, Le FP uses recyclable plastic containers with minimal shrink wrapping to ensure non-tampering. Most of our products have an organic content of 90% and higher, however we have chosen not to be officially "organic certified" because of the costs, there's a lot of confusion rule wise for personal care products and we believe that handmade products in small batches are worth more than products made by big corporations using machinery. We research ingredients, containers and processes constantly to remain at the forefront of the green movement. We value ethical business practices and fair trade ingredients.
Josée Dupont, B.Sc., MBA , President and founder, hails from Québec and comes from a long line of self-sufficient French Canadian women who used natural ingredients to cure discomfort and ailments. Josée was raised by a Reiki master mom, with a business background who does tai chi and yoga. Josee's mom has always been a strong influence and has introduced her to TM at 13 years old and yoga a little later. Her dad was an MD who practiced Zen meditation and martial art. Inspired by her mom's request (to call it a request is putting it mildly!) for a terrific face cream without chemicals preservatives, allergenic ingredients and with beneficial essential oils, Josée took her background in biology mixed it with her love and knowledge of Ayurvedic herbs, a little bit of family tradition of natural body care making and formulated an unbelievable face cream. The face cream was met with great success and continues to inspire her to always fill a need and provide fantastic products. Now she has expanded her skin care to include everything you would ever need to look and feel beautiful!

A little bit hip and a little bit homey, settled in 1739, Peterborough was voted one of 10 coolest small towns in the US (Budget Travel magazine 2007) and is located centrally in beautiful southern New Hampshire. Not too many small towns are home to two theater groups, or, for that matter, The MacDowell Colony, the country's oldest artists retreat . Boasting beautiful views of Mt Monadnock, this peaceful setting with rolling hills is 90 minutes north of Boston, MA, and within 50 minutes of Manchester, NH.
